Steam, Mist to meet in LFL playoffs
Written by Mike DelrioThe Atlanta Steam set for playoff meeting with Seattle this Saturday.
The Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Steam (3-1) will square off with the Seattle Mist (3-1), the runner-up in the Western Conference, this Saturday in the first of a two-game LFL playoff event to be played at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. With Seattle averaging 50-points a game during the regular season and Atlanta just shy of 36 a game, the matchup has the makings of a high-scoring affair.

Dakota Hughes leads the Steam to another postseason appearance.
Veteran QB Dakota Hughes leads the Steam offense into the post season and is coming off another solid regular season performance. Dakota had the second-best QB Rating (95.7) in the LFL and finished the regular season with 11 TDs and only 2 INTs, a 5 to 1 ratio that was best in the league.

Braves improve team and do no harm to their future
Written by Mike DelrioThe last week has seen the Atlanta Braves improve their chances at a postseason appearance this season by adding a veteran starter to help stabilize the rotation while also adding depth to the bullpen and improving the bench both offensively and defensively. And while the actions were taken to improve the team’s chances at making it in to this postseason, they players acquired will make Atlanta a better team for the next season as well.

Seven Gwinnett 7A teams advance to second round of GHSA playoffs

The second round of the Georgia High School Association football playoffs will include seven Gwinnett teams playing in four games from the state’s largest classification, AAAAAAA. Archer, Brookwood, Grayson, Mill Creek, Mountain View, North Gwinnett, and Parkview all earned trips to the second round, but at least three will see their title dreams dashed because they are facing other county teams.

Atlanta Gladiators 2017: Week of November 13
