Although Norcross (6-1, 4-0) is No.1 in the region and has already beaten North (5-2, 3-1) it may be the Bulldogs that have the advantage with three weeks to play due to scheduling.
Because Norcross beat North head-to-head and the Blue Devils have yet to suffer a region loss Norcross would have to lose two of their last three games and the Bulldogs would have to win all of their remaining games to win the region title outright.
While Norcross controls their own destiny the scheduling does keep the North hopes alive because the Bulldogs finish the season against Duluth (1-6, 0-4) on the road and then have back-to-back home games against Meadowcreek (1-6,0-4) and Mountain View (1-6,0-4) while the Blue Devils face Peachtree Ridge (5-2, 3-1) on the road, Mill Creek (4-2, 3-1) at home and Collins Hill (5-2,3-1) on the road.
Collins Hill, Mill Creek and Peachtree Ridge are also in the title chase and a win for any of them over Norcross would put them in position to take the crown but all finish the season playing each other so there are a number of scenarios that could play out but if the Blue Devils were to run the table they would be Region 7-AAAAAA champions.
