Week 10 Game Results
Archer 35 @ Central 14
Central scored first in the contest with Archer to take a first quarter 7-0 lead, but then the Tigers scored three touchdowns in less than five minutes in the second stanza to hold a 21-7 advantage at the break. After a scoreless third quarter, the Black Knights fought back to pull to within seven points after Eric Forrest and Chris Shelling connected for a 17 yard TD with 7:20 left in the game.
Kyle Davis pushed the Archer lead back to 14 points just 17 seconds later when he took the ensuing kickoff at the Tiger 20 yard line and took it to the house. Archer added another TD late in the quarter when Gabe Tiller and Randy Nails teamed up for their second TD pass and catch of the game-both from 15 yards out-to secure their fifth victory in a row.

Grayson 17 @ Dacula 27
Dacula began the fourth quarter trailing visiting Grayson by four points, 17-13, in a battle between the only teams still undefeated both in the region and overall. The score remained unchanged until the Falcons capitalized on a Ram turnover deep in their own territory when Giovanni Luggo hit Jonathan Grant for a 20 yard score to take the lead with a little over three minutes to go in the final stanza.
Any hopes of a comeback for the Grayson faithful were dashed when Lawson Cook came up with a pick-6 for Dacula on a Chase Brice pass attempt to push the Ram deficit to 10 points, 27-17, with just 89 ticks of the clock remaining in the game. It was the sixth of what was a seven turnover game for Grayson.
Last week’s GSR Offensive Player of the Week Cameryn Brent had another solid effort. After carrying the ball 30 times for 153 yards and a touchdown in Grayson’s Week 9 win against Central, he totaled 130 yards on 27 rushes with a TD in the loss to the Falcons.
