Lanier senior linebacker Jeremy Taylor made 16 solo tackles, including two for losses, in the Longhorn win over Salem in a critical Region 8-AAAAA game in Week 10 and has been selected as the Gwinnett Sports Report Defensive Player of the Week.

Taylor is an undersized (5’10, 175-pounds) linebacker that plays bigger than his size. The W over Salem keeps Lanier undefeated (8-0, 7-0) and in the fight for the region title.
