Johnathan Hawkins (24) is the workhorse for Mill Creek and will lead the ground assault against Norcross in a critical Week 11 game.

The GHSA 2014 football regular season is down to two more weeks and there is much still to be determined across the state of Georgia and Gwinnett County is no different. Both Region 7 and 8 in AAAAAA, the state’s largest classification, have yet to be decided but that could change on Friday night when many of the teams challenging for the titles will square off.

Region 7-AAAAAA Week 11 Schedule

Two of the four games in Region 7 pit title challengers head-to-head with Mill Creek visiting Norcross and Collins Hill hosting Peachtree Ridge. In the other two games, Meadowcreek visits North and Duluth will be at Mountain View.

The Mill Creek @ Norcross game is BIG. A Hawk victory combined with a Bulldog win over Meadowcreek would mean both North and Mill Creek would move ahead of the Norcross with just a week remaining in the season.

Collins Hill will be home but is coming off a 44 point loss to Mill Creek last week and will face a Peachtree Ridge squad that held Norcross to two points in a 35-2 win.
