The teams were knotted 1-1 after the first period, but then the Gladiators found the back of the net twice in the middle stanza while keeping the Rabbits scoreless to take a 3-1 lead to the final period. Greenville cut the lead to a goal early in the period (2:52), but Atlanta held on for the road win.
Recently acquired Matt Ginn had 32 saves on 34 Greenville shots in his first start with Atlanta. Ginn was assigned to the Gladiators on October 28 by Providence of the AHL.
After Greenville scored just barely three minutes into the game (3:02) to go up 1-0, Derek Nesbitt scored on the power play with just 46 seconds left in the period pull Atlanta even. Thomas Frazee and Brock Higgs got the helpers.
Nesbitt gave the Glads their first lead of the night when he scored his second PP goal of the game at 6:15 of the second period with Higgs and Gary Nunn being credited with the assists. Zach Yuen scored the last goal of the night for Atlanta, also on the PP, at 13:58 of the period with Nunn and Nesbitt receiving the assists.

ROSTER NEWS
In addition to Ginn, the P-Bruins assigned two more players to the club last week. Rookie Forward Eric Neiley and Defenseman Max Iafrate both joined the Gladiators. To make room for the newly assigned players, Atlanta released Alpharetta native Drew Baker and Todd Fiddler
The Gladiators play home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Infinite Energy Center (formerly the Arena at Gwinnett Center) which is located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth. Parking is always free.
