Mountain View up to No. 2 in SCORE AAAAAA baseball ranking

 Mountain View is No. 2 in the most recent SCORE Atlanta 6A ranking that was released on Monday.

 

After an impressive showing at the Perfect Game Showcase that saw Mountain View earn wins in three of four games, the Bears moved from No. 3 to No. 2 in the SCORE Atlanta weekly AAAAAA ranking that was released on Monday. Collins Hill (No. 4), Parkview (No. 6), and Norcross (No. 10) join Mountain View making Gwinnett County home to four teams in the 6A Top 10.

Pope (7-4) is the only Week 2 Top 5 team that remains in the same spot (No. 5) in the Week 3 ranking. Walton (8-1) took the top slot after a 2-0 week while previous No. 1 Milton (8-2), who lost to Pope, dropped two spots to No. 3. Collins Hill had a very good week (3-0) to improve to 6-2 which resulted in a two-spot jump from No. 6 to No. 4. Norcross (9-2) makes their first appearance in the ranking this season.

2. Mountain View 8-3

3. Milton 8-2

4. Collins Hill 6-2

5. Pope 7-4

6. Parkview 4-4

7. Lee County 12-0

8. East Coweta 10-3
