The Gwinnett Daily Post released the highly-respected All-County Baseball First and Second Teams for the 2016 season earlier this week, including the Player, Pitcher, and Coach of the Year selections.

Player of the Year: RF Brandon Marsh (Buford)

Marsh hit .559 with three home runs, 25 RBIs, 19 stolen bases, 16 doubles, eight triples and 59 runs scored on the way to setting a new county record with 66 hits in 118 at bats. The 6-foot-4 senior was chosen by the Los Angeles Angels in the second round (No. 60) of the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft, but has said he is not going to sign and will honor his committment to Kennesaw State.

Pitcher of the Year: LHP Graeme Stinson (Norcross)

Stinson is a 6-foot-5, 245-pound southpaw that posted a 9-1 record with a 1.58 ERA and 79 strikeouts in 70.2 innings of work for the Blue Devils in his senior season. He is signed to play at Duke University.

Coach of the Year: Reggie Stancil (Norcross)

In his first season as the Norcross skipper, Stancil led the Blue Devils to the Region 7-AAAAAA championship as well as their first state semifinal appearance since 1963.
