Gwinnett County stat leaders heading to Week 5

With Week 5 action of the Georgia High School Association 2016 football season about to kickoff, a look at the Gwinnett County stat leaders finds eight players that are in the Georgia Top 25 in their respective categories.

The players represent six county schools with Wesleyan and Mill Creek each having two players on the list. Central, North, Duluth, and Collins Hill are the other teams represented on the state rankings.    

The ranking is based on total yards, not per game average. The total yards, games played, and state ranking follow the players name and school.

Rushing

Josh Samuel - Central Gwinnett, 439 yards in 4 games, 23rd

Passing

Cade Fortin - North Gwinnett, 814 yards in 4 games, 12th

Jalil El-Amin - Duluth, 798 yards in 3 games, 13th

Cameron Turley - Mill Creek, 786 yards in 3 games, 16th

Banks Ramsey - Wesleyan, 756 yards in 3 games, 22nd

Drew Dinsmore - Collins Hill, 745 yards in 4 games, 23rd

Receiving

Harrison Cook - Wesleyan, 316 yards in 3 games, 17th

Edmond Graham - Mill Creek, 303 yards in 3 games, 24th
