Los Angeles (3-0) @ Atlanta (2-1)

The LA and Atlanta contest should provide something the LFL is in dire need of-a good game. While both teams are locks for the post-season, both have much to play for in the regular season finale for the LFL.

Win or lose, Atlanta will meet the Chicago Bliss (pictured) in the East Conference tile game.

The Temptation are looking to go to the West Conference title game against Seattle undefeated while the Steam need a win to prove they can beat a quality team ahead of their East Conference championship rematch against Chicago. Atlanta has the added motivation of revenge after having lost to Los Angeles last season in the first ever meeting between the clubs.

Both teams have put plenty of points on the board (Atlanta-150, LA-169) this season, but the best gauge is results against common opponents, Austin and Pittsburgh. In those games, the Steam have outscored the Temptation by 33 points (123-90) giving Atlanta the advantage on the offensive side of the ball.

While Atlanta has the edge on offense, the defensive nod goes to Los Angeles. The Steam allowed 53 points (Pittsburgh-21, Austin-31) to teams that posted a combined 1-7 mark this season while the Temptation surrendered just 34 with Austin accounting for 28 of those. LA held the Rebellion to a single score while Atlanta gave up three to Pittsburgh.

Expect Dakota Hughes to lead the Steam offense to another solid performance, and the combination of experience and home-field advantage will help Atlanta, but the Steam defense must cut down on the number of big plays they give up to the Temptation to earn the W.
