The Los Angeles Temptation (4-0) visited the Atlanta Steam (2-2) for the second straight season, and went home with a win-again. This time, LA came from behind in the final quarter to earn a 20-14 victory in a game that was just what the league was in need of heading to the post season-a competitve game. The game was the final one of the LFL regular season, but both teams have at least one more game this season as both head to their conference title games.

The Temptation will face the Seattle Mist (4-0) in what will be the first meeting between the two West Division rivals this year while the Steam will square off with the Chicago Bliss (4-0) to decide the West for the third consecutive season.

The LA, Atlanta contest was just the third of 16 regular season games that had a victory margin of less than 10-points (21-20, 34-27, 20-14). One other game saw a margin of less than 20-points (46-26). Seven of the remaining 12 games were blowouts that included margins of 87, 73, 106, 98, 56, 60 and 66 points.

The conference title games will be much more competitive, and both will be much closer than the 66-12 (1064-198) average score of the regular season pairings.
