The Atlanta Gladiators open the 2017-2018 campaign with a two-week training camp that will be held at their official practice facility, the Duluth IceForum. The camp starts this weekend, and all on-ice practice sessions held at the IceForum are open to the public at NO COST.

During the 11-day training period, fans will have the opportunity to see the new Atlanta roster nine times during training sessions, and once in a game scenario before the 15th anniversary season of Gladiators hockey begins with a road game on Friday, October 13th against the Florida Everblades.

Atlanta will play one home preseason exhibition game on Thursday, October 5th when they host division rival Greenville starting at 7:00 PM at the Duluth IceForum. Tickets will be $5 with all proceeds being donated to local youth hockey charities.

The Gladiators open their home schedule on Friday, October 20th when the Everblades visit for the Infinite Energy Arena for a 7:35 puck drop.

The Atlanta Gladiators are members of the ECHL, the nation’s premier "AA" hockey league, and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Infinite Energy Arena, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth – where parking is always free.

After six seasons covering pro sports as a credentialed writer/photogrpaher in the Atlanta area, Mike began covering Gwinnett County High School sports in 2013 which led to the launch of Gwinnettsportsreport.com. GSR is a site that highlights prep and youth sports in Gwinnett County. While baseball. basketball, and football receive the majority of the attention, GSR will include updates and news on a variety of sports across the county.

GSR coverage of pro teams in the county began in June 2015.

With many of the top athletes and teams in Georgia calling Gwinnett home, there is a never-ending stream of news and Gwinnettsportsreport.com looks forward to becoming one of your favorite sports blogs for updates on the outstanding athletes in our county.
