All but one Gwinnett County team saw action in Week 5 of the Georgia High School Association football schedule, including a matchup between AAAAAA Region 8 undefeated teams Grayson and Parkview.

QB Dakota Hughes is set to return for her third season as the Atlanta Steam field general. 

Coach Dane Robinson has confirmed that eight LFL veterans with at least two years experience will be returning to the Atlanta Steam for the 2016 season. There will also be some players that were rookies last season that will have the opportunity to earn a spot on the roster based on their performance during the open tryout that is set for November.

The Atlanta Steam will begin their fourth Legends Football League season with an open tryout in November, but it’s clear that the new edition will be very different from previous versions. A number of veterans will not be returning this season, including some that have been with the team since its inception in October 2012.

Eleven Gwinnett County teams saw action in seven games as part of the Week 4 slate of games, including a big AAAAAA Region 8 contest between the Archer Tigers and the Grayson Rams. The teams came into the game as the Nos. 3 and 4 teams in the state with Archer holding the higher ranking.

Gwinnett Football Preview: Week 4

Week 4 of the Georgia High School Association football schedule has 11 of the Gwinnett County high school teams in action playing in seven games that includes two rivalry games as well as a contest with national attention.

The third week of the 2015 Georgia High School Association football season saw 17 Gwinnett County teams in action, including Class AAAA Buford traveling to Cobb County for a game with traditional AAAAAA powerhouse McEachern and two games that matched county teams.

Gwinnett Football Weekly: Week 2

Week 2 of the 2015 Georgia High School Association football season saw 19 of 23 Gwinnett County teams take the field, including the Gwinnett Sports Report Class AAAAAA Region 7 and 8 top-ranked teams.

Gwinnett Football Weekly: Week 1

The first week of the Georgia High School Association 2015 football season saw 18 of the Gwinnett County teams in action, including three contests that matched county teams head-to-head. The Week 1 results suggest that this is going to be another great year for county football that will see a number of teams in the hunt in five of the six Georgia classifications.
