The Georgia High School Football Daily (GHSFD) AAAAAAA Top 10 once again includes five Gwinnett County teams after Archer (No.2), Grayson (No.4), North Gwinnett (No.5), and Brookwood (No.7) all won their matchups, and Mill Creek (No.10) did not play.
If the opening week of the 2017 GHSA football season is any indication, Gwinnett County is going to have another exiting season that will see several county teams across many classifications in the thick of the fight for state titles. Because Gwinnett is home to dozens of Nationally and State ranked football players, there are sure to be several outstanding performances turned in every week that deserve recognition.
With the 2017 GHSA football season upon us, preseason projections are flooding the airwaves and the internet. Several Preseason All-Region, All-State, and National team picks as well as team rankings have been released in the last couple of weeks.

Parkview defeated Dacula on the final Friday of the regular season to join Grayson, Archer, and Central Gwinnett as the representatives in the Georgia High School Association football playoffs from AAAAAA-Region 8.

Week 4 of the Georgia High School Association football schedule has 11 of the Gwinnett County high school teams in action playing in seven games that includes two rivalry games as well as a contest with national attention.
This is the Gwinnett Sports Report Week 3 Power Ranking for Georgia Class AAAAAA, Regions 7 and 8. The ranking reflects on field results and will be released every week during the GHSA 2015 football regular season.
