The Settle Mist improved to 2-0 while dropping the Denver Dream to 0-2 with a Week 6 blowout that saw Seattle score 106 while shutting out Denver. The 106-point margin of victory continues the string of league mismatches following a 73-point Los Angeles victory over Omaha last week, a 35-point Atlanta win over Pittsburgh in Week 4, and an 87 point win for Chicago in their Week 3 meeting with the Dream.

The 73 point victory follows on the heels of a 35 point Atlanta win over Pittsburgh (0-1) in Week 4, and an 87 point win for Chicago (1-0) in their Week 3 meeting with Denver (0-1).

Steam open season with 50-21 road win against Rebellion in LFL Week 4 action.

The Atlanta Steam (1-0) traveled to Pittsburgh to open their 2017 season against the Rebellion (0-2) in Week 4 LFL action, and returned home with a 56-21 victory in what was the first home game for the first-year Pittsburgh franchise.

There were a number of bright spots for Atlanta in the 35-point win, but there are some things that need to be addressed on the defensive side of the ball before the Steam travel to Chicago for what is sure to be one of the most competitive games in the league this season.

Three key veterans to a championship season for Atlanta are Adrian Purnell, Lauran Ziegler, and Dina Wojowski.

The Atlanta Steam (0-0) will open their 2017 Legends Football League season on the road against the Pittsburg Rebellion (0-1) in what will be the home opener for the first year franchise. The meeting comes in Week 4 of the LFL season. Pittsburgh kicked off their inaugural season in Week 2 with a 32-9 road loss to the Omaha Heart (1-0).

The Atlanta Steam began the 2016 season looking to establish themselves as the team to beat in the Eastern Conference of the Legends (Lingerie) Football League, but instead finished with a 1-3-1 overall record which included another season ending loss to the Chicago Bliss in the post season-the third in three years. Adding to the disappointment is the fact that the lone Atlanta win this season came against lowly Omaha.

Head coach Dane Robinson led the Atlanta Steam onto the field for the final sessions of the preseason last weekend with veterans fighting to keep their starting jobs and rookies fighting to make the roster. After evaluating the player performances over the last month, Robinson and his experienced staff made the final decisions about which athletes would wear the red and black this season. As expected, the final roster includes several new faces.

The most recent Atlanta Steam depth chart, released by head coach Dane Robinson on Monday, reflects evaluations following the weekend minicamp. The chart, the second released for the 2016 season, has few changes from the first. While the practices did much to solidify some positions there are battles at tight end on the offensive side of the ball as well as defensive end (L), cornerback (L and R), and free safety on the defensive side.
